Parish Council Meeting Reflects Efficiency/Productivity

In a meeting that lasted less than fifteen (15) minutes, the Washington Parish Council on December 3, 2018 handled routine matters, invited public participation, and received reports from President Richard N. Thomas and his staff. While some meetings address issues that require more extensive discussion and public participation, others, such as this one, provide the needed information and actions without a lot of unnecessary talking.

Parish President Thomas advised the Council of up-coming commission appointments and of projects being planned. Public Works Director Ken Wheat advised the Council that the Animal Shelter project is moving toward completion and Transportation Manager Donnell Merritt provided his monthly report on work performed by parish government crews.
