Anita Winkler Lott a longtime resident of Varnado, LA, passed away on Tuesday morning at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton, LA at the age of 82. She worked in the cafeteria at Varnado High School for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Donna) Chastant of Franklinton, LA; a sister, Janie Todd of Des Moines, IA; a brother, Needham R. Forbes of Varnado, LA; a granddaughter, Christa Chastant of Varnado, LA; three grandsons, Cayman Chastant of Varnado, LA, Kaleb, and Kaden Miller of Franklinton, LA; and a great-grandchild, Bryson Brumfield of Varnado, LA. Also, survived by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of fourteen years, Floyd Lott; her parents, Needham and Paula Forbes; a son, Robert Thomas; a sister, Wanda Forbes; and a brother, Jack Forbes.
Graveside Services will be held at Ponemah Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 with Rev. Fred Brumfield officiating.
