Obituary

Dale William Statham
August 15, 1959 - December 12, 2018

Dale William Statham, age 59 and a resident of Bolivar, LA, died from complications of a stroke at the Villa Feliciana Medical Complex in Jackson, LA. He was a retired motor-grader operator with the Tangipahoa Parish Government, following 26 years of service keeping our roads smooth. He enjoyed being with people and helping them do whatever needed doing. It didn’t matter if it was digging ditches, milking cows, planting flowers, fixing a tractor or playing in the mud, he was ready and willing. Dale William loved hunting for deer, raccoon and all types of small game.

Survived by: 2 Sisters and a Brother in law: Margaret Statham McIntyre, Gail Statham Hartman and Leonard Hartman all of Bolivar; His Beloved Boys (Nephews): Mikey McIntyre (Ellie), Statham Hartman (Brittany), Donovan Hartman (Carrie) all of Bolivar; Great-nieces: Emmie McIntyre and Charley McIntyre both of Bolivar; His cousins who grew up together with him on Statham Road: John, Kenny, Peggy Hodges, and Hugh Magee and Mary Lynn Magee Travis.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Morgan Statham and Mary Frances Creel Statham, brothers in law Dale McIntyre and Darrell McIntyre, grandparents Daniel Morgan Statham and Esther Arnett Statham, Murray Newton Creel and Corrine Dykes Creel.

The family requests that instead of flowers, spend time with and love your family.
