Incumbent Mayor Wendy O'Quinn Perrette will face “Doug” Ritchie in a run-off on December 8, 2018. Unofficial returns reflect candidates received the following percentage of the votes cast: Brian McCree (12%), James “Mack” McGehee (18%), Wendy O'Quinn Perrette (35%), “Tina Ratliff (17%), and “Doug” Ritchie (19%).
Bogalusa Councilman at Large: Penny Douglas and “Teddy” Drummond were elected. Unofficial returns reflect the following percentage of votes cast: Scott Richard Ard (19 %), Robin Day (20 %), Penny Douglas (32%), and “Teddy” Drummond (29%).
Bogalusa Councilman District A: Gloria W. Kates was elected with 71% and Virginia Dunn received 29%.
Bogalusa Councilman District B: Danielle Magee-Keys defeated Incumbent Tamira Moss Smith 58% to 42%.
Bogalusa Councilman District C: Oneita Graham (32%) will face Shelby C. Temples(32%). Malcom D. Moses received 22% and Keosha Rawls had 14%.
Bogalusa Councilman District D: Kenny Kellis with 65% of the vote defeated, Paul Barber (24%) and , T. A. "Foots" Quinn (12%).
Bogalusa Councilman District E: Mark Irvine with 73% of the vote defeated John Richard McNabb.
Bogalusa School Board District 3: Willie "Toni" Breaux defeated Justin P. Arnold 59% to 41%.
Bogalusa School Board District 4: Adam Kemp defeated Travis Houston 62% to 38%.
Bogalusa School Board District 5: "Curtis" Creel defeated "Kay Kay" Varnado 58% to 42%.
Bogalusa School Board District 6: Richard "Ricky" Killingsworth defeated Susan Catha Penton 75% to 25%.
Bogalusa School Board District 7: “Brad” Williams defeated Dustin Mitchell 55% to 45%.
Washington Parish Council District 5: Thomas R. "Rusty" Fornea with 48% will be in a runoff with Randy Thomas who got 36% of the vote. Mike Garic ran third with 16%.
Washington Parish School Board District 8: Frankie Crosby defeated Incumbent Matthew Tate 53% to 47%.
Washington Parish Fire District 7: The 5 mil renewal was approved by 60% to 40%.
