Former Sun Police Officer Indicted for Malfeasance

District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that a grand jury indicted Jacob Scott Walker (36), a former Sun police officer, on Tuesday (November 13, 2018) with two counts of malfeasance.

Walker is accused of pocketing money he collected from traffic tickets for his own personal gain between February 8 and August 13 of this year. Walker also is accused of failing to submit narcotics evidence to the crime lab for analysis after a traffic stop on December 18, 2017, and then lying about it.

Assistant District Attorney Ken Dohre presented the case to the grand jury, and D.A. Investigator Walter “Nick” Burtanog, IV, investigated it.
