July 19, 1939 - October 10, 2018
On July 19, 1939, God blessed us with one of his most strongest, happiest, friendliest, and loving angels that he has. Although her visit with us was very short, she has left an everlasting impression on all of us.
Margie M. Bridges was a blessing both to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Annie Bridges of Bogalusa, Louisiana in Lee's Creek. She was reared at East Jerusalem Baptist Church in Lee’s Creek. She was a faithful member of Greater Northshore Full Gospel Baptist Church with Bishop Robert J. Taylor, Pastor in Slidell, LA.
She began her walk through this life with Clem Holloway, where she mothered five children. Three sons, Carlton (Fabe) Holloway of Douglasville, GA, Clayton (Rita) Holloway of Knoxville, TN, Clemile (Shawnya) Holloway of Slidell, LA and two daughters, Latanya Holloway of Slidell, AL and Sharon Holloway of Bogalusa, LA; twenty beautiful grandchildren and thirty-two beautiful great grandchildren. A bundle of caring nieces, nephews, and relatives to continue the happiness and love she has shared with us.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, Joshua Bridges, Isaac (Ike) Bridges, Frank Lee (Peaches) Bridges, Defisher Keller Johnson, Mamie Mitchell and Pauline Bridges Magee Elzey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 2:00PM - 5:00PM with a family hour from 5:00PM - 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, LA.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00AM at First Church of God in Christ - Bogalusa, LA with Bishop Howard Quillen. Interment - Lee's Creek Cemetery.
