WPSO Arrests Burglary Suspect Within 12 Hours

On September 20,2018 the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division arrested Scott Anthony Shubert (35) of Bogalusa and charged him with burglary of a a business, burglary of a vehicle, theft and criminal damage to property.

The arrest came within twelve hours of the crime being reported to the Sheriff’s Office. A review of surveillance video at an area business reportedly revealed Shubert selling some of the stolen property. Shubert was quickly located and most of the stolen property was recovered.
