Theft Suspects from MS Nabbed by Mandeville Police

Yesterday evening (September 11, 2018), Mandeville police responded to a report of a theft by shoplifting at Old Navy Clothing Store on Highway 190. Officers obtained a description of the vehicle and suspects. Officers located the vehicle along with the four suspects who were arrested without incident.

Officers prepared a search warrant for the interior of the suspect’s vehicle where stolen clothing items from Victoria Secret, JC Penny, Maurice’s and Old Navy were recovered. The value of all items stolen was approximately $5,000. Officers also confiscated a security tag remover device.

Video surveillance reportedly showed the subjects inside of the business concealing items inside of large purses before exiting the business without paying.
