The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office responded on Sunday, September 16, 2018 to a reported robbery of a convenience store on Highway 190 West in Slidell. The robber demanded all the money from the register and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.An accurate description of the perpetrator was obtained and confirmed through video surveillance. The subsequent investigation led to the identification of Tristan James (48) of Slidell, as a suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Monday, September 24, 2018, James turned himself in and reportedly admitted to committing the robbery.
