Danny Seals
July 18, 1951 - September 22, 2018



Danny Seals, age 67 and a good and faithful servant of the Lord and devoted husband, father and grandfather, went to his Heavenly home on September 22, 2018.

Danny was retired after a 38 year career teaching the young people of Washington Parish. He was a longtime math and history teacher at Thomas Junior High School and Pine High School, where he also coached basketball and football. Danny concluded his career with three years at Mount Hermon School, where he coached the Lady Jackets basketball team. He was a former member of the Mississippi National Guard during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church for many years, where he enjoyed worshipping with his church family. Danny was an avid outdoorsman who always loved hunting and fishing. He was recently able to take his trip of a lifetime to visit the majestic Yellowstone National Park. Danny adored his grandchildren and especially liked teaching them to play the sports they enjoyed. He had a special place in his heart for his pet dog Shep.

Survived by: Wife of 44 years: Jane Allen Seals of the Stateline Community; 4 Daughters and Sons in law: Natalie and Jason Mecklenborg, Danielle Seals, Lana and Joseph Dileo, Allison and Rhett Falcone all of Madisonville; His Treasured Grandchildren: Madison Dileo, Jack Mecklenborg, Sydney Jane Mecklenborg, Isabella Alford, Ian Falcone, Liam Dileo, Luca Dileo, Ari Falcone; Sister: Myrtle Duncan and Danny Brown of Stateline; Twin Sister and Brother in law: Diane and Aubrey Stewart of Bogalusa; 2 Brothers and Sisters in law: Willie Fay and Mary Jane Seals, Oneal and Barbara Seals all of Stateline; Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Kaye and Ronny Prescott of Magnolia, MS, Deborah and Robbie Robinson of Zachary, Bill Allen of Hattiesburg, Joel and Cindy Allen of Magnolia; Also numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Henry Seals and Roena Gerald Seals, sisters Cleo Seals, Jean Ard, nieces Janet Brumfield, Susan Pope, nephew Steven Pope, father in law and mother in law Lloyd and Mrytle Allen.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday September 25th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Wednesday with Eld. Richard Magee officiating. Burial will follow in the New Gerald Cemetery.
