Steven Moody

Steven L. Moody, a native and lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA, died at his residence on Friday morning, September 7, 2018 at the age of 85. He was a veteran in the United States Navy, serving in the Korean War on the USS Princeton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra Briese Moody; his son, Scott (Brooke) Moody of Franklinton, LA; his daughter, Dawn (Robert) Creech of Prairieville, LA; four grandchildren, Jessica Moody of Baton Rouge, LA, Julia Moody of Angie, LA, Amanda Moody of Pineville, LA, and Reagan Moody of Oxford, MS; three great-grandchildren, Jayce Massey of Baton Rouge, LA and Britton Scott Moody of Bogalusa, LA, and Davie-Lynne Disotell of Angie, LA; and one brother, Mike Seal Moody of Bogalusa, LA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Vida Moody; two brothers, Lamon Moody and Jewel Moody; and his sister, Madleine Walters.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Superior Avenue Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. and will continue until memorial service begins at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Clay Norwood will officiate.
