Doris Branton, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went to her eternal home on Monday, September 17, 2018. She was 77 years old. She was a native of Bogalusa and resident of Denham Springs. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, James “Jimmy” Branton and wife Sharen, Jeff Branton and wife Debbie; two daughters, Terri Branton Smith, Lisa Blackwell; brother, Nathan “Cicero” Blackwell and wife Lisa; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Keri, Brandi, Brittany, Jared, Justin, Aaron, April, Hope; six greatgrandchildren, Cameron, Kailey, Kayden, Adeleine, Mason, Raelynn and numerous Nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, A.J. Branton; her parents, two brothers, a sister and her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Faye Branton. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation is scheduled for September 19, 2018 from 5 pm to 8pm at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Avenue, Denham Springs, Louisiana 70726. Visitation will resume on September 20, 2018 at 9 am until a Celebration of Life at 11 am. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
