Glen E. Duncan, age 62 and a resident of Mt. Hermon, died late Friday night September 14, 2018. He was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Hermon High School and a well-known mechanic by trade who owned businesses during his life in both Louisiana and Mexico. Not only was he known for being a top mechanic but Glen was a jack-of-all-trades as he was a plumber, brick layer, electrician and carpenter as well. Glen enjoyed woodworking and had a true love for his family.
Survived by: Wife: Ana Duncan of Mt. Hermon; 3 Daughters and a Son in law: Renee’ and Clint Fortenberry of Mt. Hermon, Sabrina Duncan and fiancé Jeremy Hill of Diamondhead, MS.; Ashley Duncan of Mt. Hermon; 2 Sons: Kyle Duncan of Westminster, CO. and Kenny Duncan of Mt. Hermon; 5 Grandchildren: Hanna Whaley, Byron Hyatt, Weston Fortenberry, Elliot Duncan, Easton Hill; Mother: Joanna Duncan of Mt. Hermon; 2 Brothers and a Sister in law: Buck and Glenda Duncan of Tangipahoa, Ronald Duncan of Mt. Hermon; 3 Sisters and a Brother in law: Carolyn Kincaid of Hamilton, OH., Jackie Schroeder of Kentucky, Barbara and Virgil Ezernack of Zwolle, LA.; Also numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father Elwood Duncan, brother Matthew Duncan, infant brother David Duncan, grandparents Elmer Duncan and Loni Miller Duncan, Delton Graves and Daisy Moak
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday, September 21st from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Friday with Rev. Calvin Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Maples/Duncan Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Hill, Clint Fortenberry, Monroe Fortenberry, Byron Hyatt, Blake Fortenberry, Tyrane Boyd.
