“Let Freedom Ring” and Welcome the Wall That Heals

As Chairman of the Bring the Wall to our Veterans Committee, Senator Beth Mizell is asking help from the community to make the events a success. Mizell is asking that the community help get out the news of the exhibit and that decorations for the Fair be left up to welcome veterans and visitors in November.


This year, in addition to welcoming visitors to the our great Fair, we have another reason to welcome visitors. The Wall That Heals will arrive at the Fairgrounds November 13th and the exhibit will close on November 18th.

Mizell urges us to "roll out the red carpet in warmth of welcome" and "in gratitude to our Vietnam Veterans and the families of those listed on The Wall".

She notes that this year's Fair theme is "Let Freedom Ring", which is so appropriate as preparations are made to welcome the exhibit.
