Anti-Semitic Vandalism at Northshore Jewish Congregation

On the afternoon of Wednesday September 5, 2018, the Mandeville Police Department responded to a report of graffiti at the “Northshore Jewish Congregation” located at 1403 North Causeway Approach. The graffiti consisted of anti-Semitic symbols that were spray painted on the outside of the house of worship. The incident is suspected to have taken place earlier in the day or possibly the night before.

The Mandeville Police Department is taking this incident very serious and are actively investigating this case as a potential hate crime until proven otherwise. Detectives have reached out to surrounding law enforcement partners and confirmed that there have been no other similar incidents at other area synagogues.
