75 Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed Lee Road Crash

On Friday, September 7, 2018 Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop L responded to a two vehicle fatal crash involving a motorcycle on LA 437 [Lee Rd.] near the intersection of LA 1082 [Stafford Rd.] in St. Tammany Parish. The crash has claimed the life of Fredrick E. Lawshe (75) of Covington.

Troopers determined that Lawshe's 1999 Honda motorcycle entered a curve in the road, crossed into the opposing lane of traffic, and crashed head-on into a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 49-year-old Jeffrey E. Graves of Bogalusa.

Lawshe was pronounced deceased on scene. Graves sustained minor injuries and was transported to St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
