10:00 am Update on Tropical Storm Gordon

The National Hurricane Center issued Advisory 5 at 10:00 am today for Tropical Storm Gordon. The advisory includes that a Tropical Storm Warning and Hurricane Watch are in effect for portions of the Gulf Coast; a Storm Surge Warning has been issued from the mouth of the Pearl River to the Mississippi-Alabama border; rainfall could reach as high as 8 inches in southern Alabama, southern Mississippi, and Louisiana.
