Timothy Anton Light
December 3, 1972 - August 13, 2018



Timothy Anton Light, age and a resident of Holt Summitt, Missouri, died Monday August 13, 2018. He was born December 3, 1972 in Warren, Arkansas and later moved with his family to Bogalusa, Louisiana in 1984. Tim was a graduate of Bowling Green School in 1991, where he was a prominent member of each of the high school athletic teams. He played on the Buccaneer football, basketball, tennis, track and his favorite baseball teams. Tim also enjoyed collecting baseball cards through the years. He was always a kind-hearted person and loved to visit with and hang out with his friends. Tim had a funny way of picking at those closest to him, always having a good time and ready to laugh.
Survived by: 3 Brothers and a Sister in law: Benjamin Light, Jr. and Rochelle Boles of Holt Summitt, Missouri, John Light of Baton Rouge, Quinton and Jan Light of Shreveport; Sister: Cecilia Ann Light, Jr. and Angela Blackwell of Bogalusa; 2 Nephews: Benjamin Cory Light, Taylor Andrew Johnston; Special Friend: Krystal Warner; Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin R. Light, Sr. and Cecilia Ann Strougal Light and grandparents Cecil and Muriel Light and Edward and Cecilia Strougal.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton, LA 70438) on Saturday August 18th from 12 pm until 2 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm Saturday. Burial will follow in the Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
