January 16, 1945 - August 02, 2018

Stanley Laroy Seal went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2018 at 12:37 p.m. He was born on January 16, 1945 and lived his life in Varnado, Louisiana. Loved ones waiting for him in heaven include his mother Elizabeth Pope Seal and father Leroy “Slick” Seal.
Stanley felt blessed to have a big family. He taught them to work hard, help each other, be faithful to God, and always love your mother. He was married to Linda Thomas Seal who was his sweetheart for 37 years. He loved Linda perfectly and often credited her for his long life of health and good times with their family.  The joy of Stanley’s life was his wife, his children, and grandchildren.
His are children: Dr. Emilie Seal-Rouse and son-in-law Mark, Victoria Seal-Koch and son-in-law Karl, Joshua Seal and daughter-in-law Haley, Dean Seal and daughter-in-law Dana, and Scott Seal and daughter-in-law Julie. His children already deeply miss their hero whose devotion to the them showed in supporting them in their dreams and goals, while keeping them grounded with his great sense of humor, wit, and wisdom. They know they had the absolute best daddy in the world. His grandchildren knew they had the best PaPaw who instilled in them his love of country living, family, loving God, and celebrating good times as a family.  He was involved with them and interested in all their activities. He was very proud of every accomplishment no matter how large or small.
Stanley’s grandchildren are:  Addison and Natalie Seal, Connor and Cooper, Cade, Cameron, and Mary Katherine Koch, Heidi and Hillary Seal, Samantha, Emerson, and Bennett Seal. The kids loved being at Nana and Papaw’s house. Watching them growing up at his feet was a great joy to Stanley. PaPaw was king and a lot of fun.
Stanley had two brothers: Washington Parish Sherriff Randy Seal and sister-in-law Shelia, and James Roy Seal (deceased).  His sister is Eathel Seal. Also loving and missing Stanley are sisters-in-law Janet Blackwell and brother-in-law Mike (deceased), Tommie Robinson and brother-in-law Grayson, Brother-in-law R. Tim Thomas and sister-in-law Suzie. Stanley’s numerous nieces and nephews were mightily blessed by Uncle Stanley. Uncle Stanley had a story befitting every circumstance. Good advice that didn’t sound at all like advice.
Stanley was a faithful member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the Lord’s church and was a steadfast influence with his patience and support.
He was active throughout his life in the community.  Stanley is a member of the Varnado Masonic Lodge 461 F&M, also serving as a past master.  He was currently serving as a member of the Varnado Gas Board. He was a past member of the Washington Parish School Board.
Stanley has worked for the Department of Agriculture for over 40 years in addition to operating Seals Dairy Farm in Varnado.
Stanley is also well known for the Beagles and participating in field trials. These experiences were the source of many of his hilarious stories he regularly shared in a life lessons. Stanley is somewhat notorious in the family for his sense of humor and quick wit stemming from his living life to the fullest.  He often expressed his gratitude for a better life than he had ever hoped for. Stanley’s often praised his mother for his philosophy to love and stand by your family.  Stanley wanted his family to be faithful and true to God, to one another, and to cherish their mother.
