Sarah Lorell Magee
August 27, 1941 - June 1, 2018



Sarah Lorell Magee, age 76 and a resident of the Haye’s Creek Community, passed away Friday June 1, 2018 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a longtime cafeteria worker at Thomas School who enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Sarah liked to bargain shop and adored her grandchildren. She was a hard-working, strong, humble lady that always supported her 5 children and prayed daily for the well-being of her family.
Survived by: 5 Children: Ernest Leon Martin, Eva Nell Martin McCain, Sarah Jo Martin Thomas and  husband Michael “Mickey” Thomas, Kenneth Lavon Martin, Burton Dewayne Martin; 13 Grandchildren;
19 Great-grandchildren; 3 Brothers and Sisters in law: Robert and Debra Magee, Walter Ray and Wanita Magee, Calvin and Joyce Magee; 3 Sisters and a Brother in law: Betty Jo Magee, Hylon and Calvin Walley,
Sheree Magee; Also numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents Joel Magee and Vanda Rogers Magee, former husband and father of her children Ernest Evon Martin, 2 brothers Rueben Earl Rogers, Louie Magee, 2 sisters Janice Faye Magee, Genell Magee Crews, grandson Randall Martin and nephew Randall White.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday June 6th from 4 pm until 6 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6 pm Wednesday with Rev. W.L. Tullos officiating.
