Two New Orleans Men Arrested in Slidell Armed Robbery

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigators have arrested two men from New Orleans following an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon (May 29, 2018) in the parking lot of a Slidell area gas station.
Shortly after 12 noon, a complainant reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint after he arranged to meet two men in a gas station parking lot to conduct the sale of a smart phone. Immediately following the robbery, the perpetrators fled the scene in their vehicle. Within thirty minutes, STPSO Criminal Patrol deputies located the suspects’ vehicle on I-10 West and took both subjects into custody without incident.
Arrested for armed robbery were Lionel Hardy (18) and Devante Washington (18).
