Joseph Jerome “J.J.” Guttuso, age 41 and of Zachary, Louisiana, passed away after a long period of health related issues. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time. He was born June 6, 1976 and passed away on May 26, 2018. He dedicated his life to his wife and children and always put others first no matter how much pain he was in. He always knew how to make people smile and laugh with his ”creative” imagination.
J.J. is survived by his wife Melissa Irvine Guttuso of Zachary, LA; his children McKenzi and Ethan Guttuso of Zachary, LA; his sisters Candace Guttuso McCain of Crossroads MS, and Shalanda Guttuso Nalencz (Ryan) of Zachary, LA; brother Antonio Guttuso and numerous niece and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ethel Rae Walker Guttuso; his father Frank Joseph Guttuso; his grandmother Eloise Chittenden and a nephew Dustin McCain.
The family wanted to extend a special thank you to Natalie Johns, and Janet Galloway.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Chad Jenkins will officiate and interment will take place at Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana at 5:00 p.m.
