St. Tammany Grand Jury Indicts Four Thursday

District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports the following grand jury indictments handed down Thursday (March 22, 2017): 

• George David Dargis, Jr. (39) of Mandeville of second degree murder in the stabbing death of his estranged wife on December 2, 2017 and several other charges related to an alleged crime spree afterward.

• Casey Emile Melerine (27) of Lacombe on a charge of second degree murder in the death of his father during an altercation in Lacombe last year.

• Curtis Osko (31) of Indian Mound, Tennessee with careless operation of a vehicle, which resulted in a crash that killed a driver last year.

• Anwar Damine Ruffin (40) of Hammond of first degree rape and sexual battery of a victim under 13 at her home in Lacombe in early January of 2017.
