Sarah Margaret Galloway
February 27, 1950 - March 24, 2018


Sarah Margaret Galloway, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away at the age of 68 at her home surrounded by her loving children on Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was a devoted loving mother and grandmother who was a living example of unconditional love.
She was survived by her son, Archie Blackwell, III of Bogalusa, LA; her daughter, Lavane Blackwell (Herman Mayeau) of Bogalusa, LA; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Leslie; her mother Mildred Leslie; her sisters, Fredda Miller, Laura Lee Cobb, and Josie Hartzog; her brothers, Charles Leslie, William Leslie, Richard Leslie, Timothy Leslie, and Gary Leslie.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Pete Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
