Ken Wheat Appointed Public Works Director

At the Washington Parish Council meeting Monday evening (February 26, 2018), the Council approved the appointment by Parish President Thomas of Ken Wheat as the parish's Public Works Director. Annual salary for the position is $75,000.
Having served as a parish councilman for thirty years, Wheat is certainly familiar with the functioning and needs of parish government.  He  recently retired after thirty-eight years from Center Point Energy where he served as Senior Marketing Consultant.
