Corliss "Bud" Rex Burrow, Jr.
February 26, 1926 - February 01, 2018



Corliss (Bud) Rex Burrow, Jr., age 91 an a resident of Osyka, went to be with the Lord on  February 1, 2018.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb, 1801 Delaware Ave. Visitation will resume again on Monday the 5th from 10:30 AM until services at 11 AM at Terry's Creek Baptist Church. There will be a private burial at the Burrow Family Cemetery.
Bud was born February 26, 1926, in Memphis, TN to Corliss R. Burrow, Sr. and Mary Mooney Burrow.
He was a deacon of the Baptist faith, and a former member of the Metairie Lions Club. He was retired from Sears and Lafreniere Park in Metairie.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Jane Burrow Oakley; brother-in-law, Cecil Oakley; niece Diane Oakley; in-laws, Drury and Anna Odom Ellington; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vernon and Doris Ellington; nephew Vernon Ellington, Jr. and sister-in-law, Mable Steele Ellington.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha Ellington Burrow of Osyka; son Ronald Burrow (Patricia) of Covington, LA; daughters, Corliss Burrow Anseman and Merri Burrow of Osyka; brother, Richard (Bubba) Burrow (Ann) of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Dawn Greenwood (David) of Folsom, LA, Jennifer A. Sinclair (Dustin) of Summit, Jason Anseman of New Orleans, LA. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, Joshua Greenwood, Blythe Anseman, Eaton and Piper Sinclair, Braedon Anseman, Jayson Anseman, Caiden Anseman, Brandon Burger, and Chastity Young.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send donations to the Gideon's, American Heart Association or to any charity of your choice.
