Authorities have recovered the body of the driver of a truck that crashed over the side of the southbound span of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway early Wednesday (January 24, 2018). The driver has been identified as Christopher Knight (41) of Franklinton.
The red Chevrolet truck he was driving had the name of a Mississippi Company, Wallace Steel Erectors, on the side.
The truck was pulled from Lake Pontchartrain on Wednesday and the body was recovered just before nightfall.
