Vicious Dog Attack Reported in Bogalusa

The Bogalusa Police Department reports that on January 26, 2018 an eight year old boy was attacked by two vicious bulldog-mix dogs in the 800 block of Ontario Ave.  The breed of dogs were a bulldog mixture. Several neighbors had to physically force the dogs off of the victim.  The dogs later attempt to attack another person in the area. The dogs were “put down” because of their vicious behavior. ,
The victim suffered injuries to both legs and the left side of his neck.and was initially transported to St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington and later transferred to Children's Hospital in New Orleans where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
