Charles Franklin Sullivan
October 08, 1932 - January 23, 2018



Charles Franklin Sullivan, age 85 and a resident of Thomas, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1932 in Springfield, OH. He was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his children, Vickie Lynn Millien of Thomas, LA, Rhonda Kay Smith (Blandon Vernon) of Bogalusa, LA, Charles Randall Sullivan (Cathy Ellen) of Alford, FL, Ernest Daniel Sullivan of Alford, FL, Robin Rudell Talley (Cecil “Butch”) of Bogalusa, LA, Charlene Diane Dean (Paul Eugene) of Apollo Beach, FL, and David Wayne Sullivan (Kelly Lynn) of Statesboro, GA; a sister, Arlene Francis Harris of Mt Washington, KY; and a brother, James Richard Sullivan of Old Town, FL; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Jane Sullivan; and his parents, Roy Richard Sullivan and Ruby Rudell Wells Sullivan.
Visitation will be held at New Life United Pentecostal Church, 1600 Jefferson Street, Bogalusa, LA 70427 on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Visitation will continue at New Life United Pentecostal Church on Friday January 26, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Wesley Quave and Rev. Travis Houston officiating. Interment will follow at American Legion Post #24 Veterans Cemetery in Ponemah Cemetery with Military Graveside Services by the American Legion Post 24.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
