Kentwood Town Meeting to Deal with New Library

Kentwood is slated to get a new library and Mayor Irma T. Gordon asks that the Kentwood Community attend the Town Meeting on Monday, January 29, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the Kentwood Branch Library in support of the Tangipahoa Parish Public Library Programs and Resources.
The Library Millage that will be on the March 24th ballot will also be discussed and questions are welcomed. The Mayor emphasizes that the millage is not a new tax but a renewal and taxes will not go up.
