Willie Elbert Magee
June 16, 1968 - December 14, 2017



Willie Elbert Magee returned to his heavenly home on December 14, 2017 at the age of 49 after a courageous battle with a long illness. Will was born to the late Willie L. Magee and Edna Mae Magee in Franklinton, Louisiana on June 16, 1968. Will as he was affectionally known as joined Greater Hazel Creek at a young age. He received a GED from Washington Parish School System Adult Education Program at the age of 18. Willie worked with his father at Johnny Nelson Construction Company. He later started working at Joe Miles Saw Mill for a number of years. He ended his workforce tour at Angie Saw Mill after it was closed.
Will was blessed with a beautiful loving family. He met and fell in love with Ms. Molean Brock, who he later became engaged to. The two has sustained their love for each other approximately 23 years. He loved to cook and spend time with his friends. Will and Molean raised her nephew and niece as their own, Deaviance and Torrianna Brock.
Will is survived by his fiancé, Molean Brock, two children Deaviance and Torrianna Brock (Angie LA), his sister, Sherry (Carl) Lyles, (Franklinton, LA) brother, Raymond (Jeanae) (Ponchatoula, LA), Step-Mother, Mildred B. Magee (Franklinton, LA) step brothers, Eddison (Isis) Simmons, Eugene (CoVosha) Simmons (Franklinton, LA). Two godchildren, Kenneth Ray (Beverly) Lewis, Little Rock, Arkansas and Demetrious Avery, (Angie, LA). Preceded in death by his parents, Willie L. Magee and Edna Mae Magee. Also, to cherish his memories is a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friend and family.
Visitation will be at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 2 pm to 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1 pm.
