Willie Fortenberry
February 27, 1930 - December 05, 2017


Mr. Willie Fortenberry, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 87 at Heritage Manor. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Early and Annie Mae Fortenberry and he was the fifth of seven children. He was very well known around the community.
He attended Franklinton High School and he worked many years for a family who loved him very much and they still do. Also he worked as a truck driver for many years.
He leaves to cherish one son, Carl Fortenberry of Franklinton, LA; and one daughter Trina Watson of Hammond, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Early Fortenberry; his brothers Early and Burnell Fortenberry; his three sisters, Lillie Lee Garrett, Katherine Fortenberry and Tempie Brumfield and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Washington Street, Franklinton, LA 70438 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the funeral services will follow.
