Jonathan Mitchell "Johnny" Nicholson

Jonathan Mitchell “Johnny” Nicholson, born in Columbia, MS. and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away at the age of 54 on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Rest Haven Living Center in Bogalusa.
He is survived by a son, Yancy (Halley) Nicholson of Bogalusa, LA; a granddaughter, Kierstyn Nicholson of Bogalusa, LA; sister and brothers, Gavin Denham Nicholson, Jr., Charles Eugene Nicholson, Patricia Gayle (Richard) Flynn, Paul Edward Nicholson, Timothy Harvey Nicholson, and Douglas Ray Nicholson; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Creel; and his father, Gavin Denham Nicholson, Sr.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
