Money Seized Following Lacombe Arrest

In late October, the STPSO Narcotics Task Force, which is made up of members from STPSO, Mandeville Police Department, Covington Police Department and Slidell Police Department, began investigating Anthony Foster (31), who is convicted felon, after it was reported that he was selling crack cocaine from his residence located at 61060 N. 31st Street in Lacombe.
On November 14, 2017, STPSO Criminal Patrol deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to Foster being involved in a disturbance with some individuals. Patrol deputies observed narcotics in plain view and contacted Task Force members, who in turn obtained a search warrant for the home. Detectives located approximately three pounds of high grade marijuana, 13 grams of cocaine, hydrocodone and Xanax tablets, a digital scale, a Hi-Point .45 pistol with an extended magazine, and $5,042. They also discovered a bank account held by Foster which contained an additional $8,209.62. All funds were seized as suspected proceeds from the sale of narcotics.
Foster was charged with numerous drug related offenses and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
