District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that a Washington Parish grand jury indicted Joshua Cole Stinson (36) of Franklinton, on a charge of running a stop sign on July 12, 2017 that resulted in the death of Curtis Simmons of Tylertown, Mississippi.The fatal crash occurred on LA 25 at the intersection of LA 438. Following the impact, Simmons' truck traveled off the right side of the roadway and collided with a culvert. Simmons was not restrained at the time of the crash and was ejected from his vehicle.
