WPSO Solves Burglary Cases: Mt. Hermon Area Man Charged

On October 17, 2017, Brady Lee Caughlin (25), a resident of Jim Edwards Road in Mt. Hermon, earned his fourth stay in the Washington Parish Jail and is charged with possession of stolen property (2 counts), burglary, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of heroin.
A Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed that Caughlin was involved in two residential burglaries, one on Tob Wilson Road and the other on Lee Road. A search warrant executed at Caughlin's residence resulted in the discovery of several items which had been stolen from the two residences. Those items included firearms, a four wheeler, dirt bikes, a generator, cameras, a large amount of ammunition and other property belonging to the victims.
Detectives learned that Caughlin had sold other stolen firearms to unknown individuals. Anyone who might have purchased a firearm or any other items from Brady Lee Caughlin is asked to contact Detective Corbet Hunt at (985) 661-2021 or (985) 839-3434. It is believed that Caughlin may have been involved in other thefts and the investigation continues.
