Washington Parish President Richard N. Thomas, Jr. advises that two shelters will be open today (October 7, 2017) at 5:00 P.M. for citizens who do not feel safe in their home. Please make plans to be in the shelter before dark.
The locations are 1) Franklinton High School gymnasium, 1 Demon Circle in Franklinton and 2) ESM Methodist Church - Family Life Center, 510 Ave B in Bogalusa.
No pets allowed. Please bring necessities
