Will Joseph McElveen, age 25 and a resident of Kentwood, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2107 at home. He was an IT Technician by trade but his passion was music. He was a self taught musician, composer, and performer who played multiple instruments. He had a natural gift to bring music to life and would play for anyone, anytime, any place.
He was dearly loved by his mother, Judy Langford McElveen; uncle, Bobby Langford; brothers and sisters, Michael and Jennifer McElveen, Debbie and Luke Simeon, John and Rachel McElveen, Sonia and Jeremy Blalock, Jeanine and Bart Matthews; nieces and nephews, Brodie and Destinee, Emily, and Sawyer McElveen, Riley and Shalayne, Hannah, and Julianah Simeon, Anthony and Jayde McElveen, Dawson, Brayden, and Lathan Blalock, Evienne Schwartz and Ezra Matthews; great-niece, Rilynn Simeon.
Preceded in death by his father, Nathan Joe McElveen.
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 1:00PM until religious services at 3:00PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Services conducted by Bro. Matthew Booty. Interment Mt. Hermon UPC Cemetery, 37300 Sunny Hill Rd., Mt. Hermon, LA 70450.
