Oscar L. Bedwell

Oscar L. Bedwell, age 71, a resident of Isabel, LA passed away on September 29, 2017, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was born on May 13, 1946 in Washington Parish, LA. He lived and worked in Baton Rouge until retirement.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers: Evelyn Corkern, Plainview, LA; Frank Doyelas Bedwell (Dolly), Crossroads, MS; Gillas Faye Manton, Erwinville, LA; Otis Bedwell (Louise), Coyell, LA; Thomas Bedwell (Carole), Port Vincent, LA; Ramona Bedwell, Isabel, LA; and Phillipp Bedwell (Pam), Bogalusa, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Erline Bedwell, his brother, William Bedwell, and his Nephew Charles Neill.
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 1, 2017, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00 noon and will continue until the service time of 2:00p.m. The Rev. Scott Breland will officiate and the interment will be held at Isabel Baptist Church Cemetery.
