Two Appointments Made to the WP Reservoir District

Today (September 15, 2017), Governor John Bel Edwards announced his appointments to several Louisiana boards and commissions. Included in the appointments were Ben W. Nevers and George Brent Nobles, both of Bogalusa, to the Washington Parish Reservoir District.
Ben W. Nevers is the former Chief of Staff to Governor John Bel Edwards and a former State Senator and Representative. As required by statute, he was nominated by the Washington Parish President.
George Brent Nobles is a licensed engineer and professional land surveyor and the owner of Nobles and Associates, LLC. As required by statute, he was nominated by a member of the Washington Parish Council.
The Washington Parish Reservoir District was formed to study the feasibility of developing a reservoir in Washington Parish and to search for a potential site.
