STPSO's K-9 Division Staying Busy

Over the last couple of weeks, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Office's K-9 Division has been busy saving lives and locating criminals. 
In one case, K-9 Thor and his handler helped locate a suspect wanted for forcing his way into an elderly woman’s Covington area home demanding money. The suspect fled after getting a small amount of money but Thor tracked him and the suspect was found hiding in a wooded area.
K-9 Nero got in on the action in another case.  He and his deputy arrested four following a vehicle burglary near Abita Springs. 
A deputy with the K-9 Division located three Armed Robbery subjects in Pearl River. They had just robbed a clerk at a Slidell area grocery store.   
K-9 Thor and his handler found a Covingon woman's ex-boyfriend inside her house. There was an active protective order in place against the man. He was also wanted on warrants stemming from an earlier incident where he broke into the home.
