Jerry Antoine VerdinSeptember 3, 1947 - August 19, 2017
Jerry Antoine Verdin born September 3, 1947 passed away August 19, 2017 at the age of 69. He was a longtime resident of Bogalusa for 45 years and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Magic City American Legion Bogalusa Post #24.
He leaves behind two sons, Jerry A. Verdin and Steffen Verdin both from Alaska, a step-son , Bro. Carl Beech, a step-daughter, Tina Lessard, five brothers, Mack Verdin, James Verdin, Steve Verdin, Tim Verdin and A V Verdin, five sisters, Stella Verdin Dufrene, Martha Verdin Hein, Mildred Verdin Gloria Verdin Burget tand Betty Verdin Charpentier, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grand child, nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Paul Ovillian Verdin and Marie Maggie Matherne Verdin, and two brothers, Tommy Verdin and Luke Verdin.
Graveside sevices will be held on August 25, 2017 in the Veterans Sector of Ponemah Cemetery located in Bogalusa, La. Bro. Carl Beech will officiate the services and Magic City American Legion Post#24 will provide Military Honors.
