Marie Pigott Marshall
September 4, 1946 - August 18, 2017
Marie Pigott Marshall, age 70, passed away on August 18, 2017. Marie was born in Bogalusa and in 1960 the family moved to St. Francisville, LA. Marie graduated from St. Francisville High School in 1964. She married Gabriel Richard and had two sons, Michael Wayne (Lisa) Richard of Addis, LA, and William Kevin (Daphene) Richard of Valrico, FL.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Marshall; her sons, Michael and Kevin Richard; grandchildren, Claire Richard, Deven Richard, Griffin and Garrett Richard; a brother, Robert (Lynn) Pigott; nieces, Aimee Galloway Hill, Kathy Pigott, Nancy Pigott Pace, and Bobbi Jo (Troy) Breland; nephews, Wynn (Michelle) Galloway, Joel (Erin) Galloway, and Douglas (Sheila) Pigott; numerous aunts, uncles, along with several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Junius “Junior” Pigott and Meita Applewhite Pigott; sister, Paula Pigott Galloway; and a brother, Vencie Pigott; grandparents, Robert Reid and Cora Pigott, and Vencie and Hazel Applewhite.
Graveside Services will be held at Ponemah Cemetery on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kelly Penton officiating.
Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
