Source: Lisa Frazier Page, Communications Director of District Attorney Warren Montgomer's OfficeA St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Lloyd Joseph Weysham (61), of Kiln, Mississippi, Thursday (August 24, 2017) of first degree rape of a victim under 13.
Weysham is accused of raping an 8-year-old girl who had been left in his care in a Slidell home in June of this year. The 11-year-old sister of the victim told authorities that she witnessed the crime while pretending to be asleep and then called a family member to report the incident.
The family member contacted the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office, which arrested Weysham.
