Bogalusa PD Charge Hammond Man With Drug Distribution

Officers from the Bogalusa Police Department conducted a traffic stop on West 9th street Thursday (August 17, 2017) on a vehicle that was involved in an ongoing narcotics investigation. The driver was about to make a drug sale.
Officers searched the area near the drivers seat and located a bottle of promethazine syrup and two small clear baggies containing a powdery/crystalline substance.  Using a field test kit, officers confirmed the substance to be Methamphetamine.
The driver, identified as Saul J. Addision, Jr. (37) of Hammond, was charged with Distribution of Schedule 2 narcotic, Distribution of Schedule 4 narcotic and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Drug Free Zone.
