Once inside the home, Dunn pulled the house phone from the wall and continued to demand money. After the son provided him with $50, Dunn fled the residence on foot, and the woman called 911. Arriving deputies set up a perimeter, and K-9 Thor and his handler were dispatched to the area.
After a brief track, K-9 Thor located Dunn hiding in a nearby wooded area approximately 250 yards from the home, but he continued to disregard deputies’ commands to quit resisting. Once handcuffed and in custody, Dunn was transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail and booked with Aggravated Burglary and Resisting an Officer.
The woman told deputies Dunn had previously worked for her as a gardener, but he was no longer employed by her.
