Mark Vincent Powell
July 24, 1957 - June 20, 2017
Mark Vincent Powell passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in Mount Hermon, Louisiana, at the age of 59.
Mark is survived by the his sister, Carla Powell Wainwright; brother, Warren Powell; brother-in-law, Tuffy Wainwright; and love of his life, Maureen Sheppard Powell. Also survived by numerous loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Fortenberry Powell and Carl C. Powell; and his sister, Jamie Lynn Powell.
Mark was a free spirit with a loving, giving soul. He will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm. Pastor Barry Chance presiding. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ginger Ford Fuller Center, 955 S. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70404, in Mark's memory.
