Shirley Ann Cox Lott
May 9, 1941 - June 18, 2017



SHIRLEY ANN COX LOTT, AGE 76 and a resident of Pine died at 8:20 pm Sunday June 18, 2017 at the Pontchartrain Guest House in Mandeville. She was a longtime member of Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church that truly loved her church and church family. Shirley believed deeply in the power of prayer and was a true prayer warrior, spending countless hours in her church prayer room. She was an accomplished seamstress for most of her life often making dresses and clothing for the younger friends and family members.
Survived by: Daughter: Rebecca Lott of Mandeville; Son: Anthony Shirah Lott of Stateline; 4 Grandchildren: Brittany Garcia, Brent Barber, Kendra Cutrer, Shana Lott; 8 Great-grandchildren; Brother and Sister in law: Rev. Jerry Cox and Sister Brenda Cox of Pine; Also numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her sons James Edward Lott and Michael Shane Lott, her husband Rev. Kenneth Ray Lott and sister Yvonne Cox Bott.
Visitation will be at Faith Tabernacle Church Wednesday June 21st from 5 pm until 10 pm and after 9 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11 am Thursday with Rev. Jerry Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are the men of her church family.
