Brent Crain
January 14, 1966 - June 3, 2017

YANCEY BRENT CRAIN, AGE 51 and a resident of Pine died Saturday evening June 3, 2017 at his home. He was a graduate of Pine High School and a former salesman for Redmont Trading Co. as well as other wholesale flooring companies through the years before working alongside his brother and family at Bennie’s Garden Center for the last several years. Brent loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a jack of all trades and worked well with his hands, building just about anything. He enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains and riding his John Deere tractor with his grandchildren. Brent cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Survived by: 2 Daughters: Megan Crain of Pine,'Ashley Spears of Jackson, MS; 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Brent Jonathan “B.J.” Crain,
Trent and Michelle Crain all of Pine; 11 Grandchildren; Mother: Nell Davis Crain of Pine; Brother: Bennie E. Crain of Franklinton; Sister: Deanie C. Ingram of Pine
He was preceded in death by his father Benard C. Crain.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday June 7th from 5 pm until 10 pm. Visitation will continue Thursday at Pine Missionary Baptist Church from 9 am until 11 am. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11 am Thursday with Bro. Brent King and Bro. Clyde Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Community Cemetery.
