J. J. Bahm

J. J. BAHM, AGE 69 and a resident of Franklinton died early Wednesday morning June 14, 2017 at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. J.J. worked for many years at Southern Natural Gas before a career as a tug-boat engineer for Bisso Towing. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends at the V.F.W. and cooking out, including his favorite jambalaya.
Survived by: Sister: Judy Bahm of Kentwood; Nephew and Spouse: Rev. Jim and Michelle Bryant of Walhalla, SC; 2 Nieces and their Spouses: Sherron and Mark Riley, Denise and Blaine Sanders all of Kentwood; Great-niece: Rebekah; 4 Great-nephews: Richard, Braxton, Preston and James
He was preceded in death by his parents Wade Bahm and Lucille Bennett Bahm and a niece Sheila Faye Bryant.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday June 17th from 9 am until 2 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Bryant and Dr. Joe Baugh officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
